Stormygator's Postcards

Welcome to my postcards webpage, my name is Rod. I collect antique postcards from the early 1900s (1900 to 1930s). I am always interested in acquiring entire post card collections, albums, or other groups of postcards (occasionally even individual cards). I collect various vintage postcards. These include U.S.Town Views, States Views, some Holiday Postcards, Real Photos, Transportation Cards, Military, some Foreign Cards, and some other postcard topics.

If you have acquired

Comment:
A highly professional website dedicated to the best period of deltiology and to the most attractive topics e g the town views. This is the postcard tradition itself and the beginning - even before the 1868 or so, when the first edition issued by postal services in the USA marked the beginning of the postcard, we had views of Capital Cities in Europe engraved or etched or after abt 1800 lithographed on the limestone and documented and sometimes in smaller size sent by curriers to another state. The view of the state or a map of it with the capital city was also sort of presentation of the ruling authority, king, president, etc abroad - remember the radio and TV did not exist!
On this site every collector can find a lot inspiration and advice for creating a rich collection of her or his own - even technical means are offered.

Kate's Postcards
My name is Kate and I'm the one of those postcards freaks which you can find on the net. But don't worry, I won't force you to send me a postcard. For me is just the way to meet a lot of great people and even some real friends. Collecting is not just a race to have more and more... No. It's something where you can locate your dreams whishing that some day they will come true.

E-mail me

A lovely site, where I find the precious feeling of an ardent collector who understands the superior value of a sent postcard with all the treasured marks of distance and authenticity of the place where the postcard was sent from.
And I learned that widokowka means postcard in Polish.
This is the bold traveling of a postcard through many countries, the sublime adventure or a small piece of thick paper not protected with envelope, not unlike a courageous warrior among heavily wrapped parcels and letters, all this adds the unique beauty to a sent postcard.
A nice site, clear words, guestbook full of praise - and justly so.

I was thrilled to see the collection - but could access not a single image at all. What is the matter here? There are so many sites where I wonder whether the webmaster plays tricks with the visitors or there is some technical problem or my inablity to resolve a minor difficulty everyone else can.
Postcards to KC
Welcome to Postcards to KC. Your probably looking at this site because you either received an email or heard about this site from someone. To make sure you know this isn't a hoax like every other email you have received I have made this site.

The idea is for people to send postcards to a P.O Box address. I am trying to collect as many postcards as possible. I would like everyone that sends one to be upated on how many are received and where they come from.

I will tell you where the postcards have came from.
Every Country, State, and City. But the only way I can do that is if you send a postcard.

No name or address is required; just where you are from. No information you do send will be given out. I WILL NOT SEND ANYTHING BACK. Email or mail. Noone will have access to any information sent to me except me.

Feel free to ask questions or write comments. Any questions will be answered on this site. If you prefer to not have your questions answered on the site then please provide an email address or email me and I will get back to you.

The updates will be weekly also if you would like; email me and let me know if you would prefer me to send you an updated letter weekly. That will include just the new places and total count as of that week. At anytime you can email and let me know to stop sending them.

You may be asking why I want to collect postcards. Well all I can say is that I find them fascinating. If I could

problems with blog this feature persist!!!!!

comment- this is a very unusual site - there is no motivation offered by the webmaster for sending him or her a Postcard - the comments are almost impolite - and I am going to send my postcard to this Post Office Box - maybe people would get tricked into by those usual hype and baloney promises of drawing the postcards - this is almost rudimentary simple a clean demand of another human being with the customary trick - or is this the best of tricks - I shall inform you, what shall happen with this trial postcard sent into the POB with promised NO FEEDBACK. I am now really mentally exhausted and must finish my blogging Here and NOW.

comment: Newall site is a must see for Far East postcard collector - this is obvious that the author has built an extensive and functioning network of trade in this geographical area and focusing on the period outside WWI is worth praise for this period is already richly covered by philatelic collections. Yet another deltiologic advantage and precious feature is author's focusing on the Boxer uprising postcards. I enjoyed my stay on this site but regret that it does not seem to be updated often.

Comment:
A colletion of photographic postcards focused on Indian architecture and the railways. A captivating selection of images that speak without words. It is worthwhile spending some time on this site, indispensable for every serious India vistor or researcher to realize the short course of time and the speed of change this multination state has been through over less than 80 years or so. The structure of the presentation is logical and instructive, the tour round India Postard Collection on this webpage is instructive and yet thrilling. Well done.

POSTCARD PARADISE

POSTCARD PARADISE: "POSTCARD PARADISE
Welcome to my postcard collector's home page
I have been collecting postcards since 1999. Till today, I have more than 1000 postcards from all over the world and it is still growing. Collecting postcards is my hobbies and I love to trade with people from all around the world. Besides that, I also collect 'First Day Cover' and stamps. Some words about myself:
I am a Malaysian and my name is Ally Yap. I was born in Kuala Lumpur and currently 22 years old. This is my first home page and I'll upgrade this page very often. Please come back often to check it out!"

An outstanding site, perfect description, a lot of nice mint postcards on offer - simply I recommend highly to visit. What is sad is that the last update is 5 years ago. I wish the webmaster is fine and will return to his lovely homestead soon again.
